Recently, a package arrived from Canada with a DVD entitled “England to Africa.” It was a documentary telling the story of Gordon H. Jones. In the midst of World War II, Gordon Jones, at age 30, was going to Katoka, Congo to carry out an important mission.
Energetic music and footage of Africa were the first images to appear on our television. After much preparation Gordon Jones had finally arrived in Africa. He would spend the majority of his life there working as a missionary; teaching African people about Jesus Christ. It’s an adventure spanning one hundred years, but told in a mere half-hour.
The Wood family (relatives of Gordon Jones) make good use of historic video and pictures to present this heart-warming biography. A documentary with the streets of England, the animals of Africa, and family values wrapped in Biblical Truth. Watch the Trailer
